What makes SoyBoy tempeh unique, you ask? First of all, for many years - and continuing today - we use only certified organic, US-grown soybeans in our tempeh. In addition, you may have seen recipes that recommend a 10 minute steaming treatment to reduce tempeh bitterness before using it. But every piece of SoyBoy tempeh is individually inspected for optimal ripeness before it is harvested from the incubator, and this eliminates the major cause of bitterness. So there’s no need for steaming, and SoyBoy tempeh is as easy to prepare as it is to enjoy. The rich, savory flavor and firm texture make it more than just a meat substitute—it’s an upgrade to your recipes. Available in Soy and 5-Grain varieties.
