Pan-fried Tofu

Ingredients:

8 oz. SoyBoy Organic Firm (or extra firm) Tofu
Vegetable oil (olive, soy, etc.)
Natural soy sauce
Garlic powder (optional)

Directions:

Slice an 8 oz. cake of tofu into 4 or 5 slabs. Place on a hot, well-oiled skillet. Sprinkle garlic powder and soy sauce on the tofu as it fries. Fry 5 - 7 minutes on each side or until the tofu has a crisp, outer skin.

Suggestions:

 For lunch, try the tofu maker’s favorite sandwich—pan-fried tofu with ketchup and mustard on whole wheat bread.
